Terms of Sale and Use

These terms apply when you buy or use products from Owner Kits (“OwnerKits”, “we”) through ownerkits.com, our checkout partner, or our apps at app.ownerkits.com.

1. Products and licenses

Our products are digital. When you buy one you receive a license to use it as described on its product page and in its license terms — you do not buy the copyright. Unless a product page says otherwise, a license covers one business, and you may not resell, share or redistribute the files.

2. Checkout and prices

Payments are processed by Gumroad under its own terms. Prices are shown on each product page; taxes may be added at checkout where required. We may change prices for future purchases at any time.

3. Delivery

Downloads are delivered right after payment through the link in your receipt and your Gumroad library. Products that include software come with a license key that activates the app. See My products.

4. Refunds

You can ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase — see the refund policy. When a purchase is refunded or charged back, its licenses are deactivated.

5. Our apps

• The apps store your business data on your own device. You are responsible for keeping backups; we cannot recover data that was only on a lost, reset or damaged device, or cleared by your browser.
• A license covers the number of businesses and devices stated for your plan. If a license is invalid or deactivated, your data is never deleted: the app becomes read-only and you can still view, export and back it up.
• The apps are tools for organising your business. They are not accounting, tax, legal or financial advice, and do not file taxes or process payments.
• We may update the apps. Updates are offered in the app and are designed to keep your existing data.

6. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to bypass license checks, share license keys outside your licensed business, overload or attack our services, or use our products for anything unlawful.

7. No warranty

Products are provided “as is”. Templates, guides and examples are general information and may need adapting to your location and situation — check legal, tax and insurance requirements with a qualified professional. We do not promise any particular business result.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
